Mitie London Revolution
The Mitie London Revolution is now the UK’s largest multi-day sportive, with over 1,500 riders taking part in a weekend of cycling around the capital. The 192 mile route takes in iconic London landmarks, scenic back roads and historic Olympic venues, including Box Hill in Surrey which formed part of the 2012 Olympic road race.
A second successful Mitie London Revolution
The second Mitie London Revolution took place on 17-18 May 2014 with over 200 Mitie riders and volunteers involved. Mitie has been the title sponsor of the event for two years now and this year did so in association with our charity partner, the Mitie Foundation, and Working Knowledge, a social enterprise that helps bridge the gap between education and the world of work. This year, we raised £30,000 which will be used to set up a new Business Development Academy to help harness the raw business talent of 12 young people, offering them formal business training as well as a year of work experience at Mitie as part of a recognised apprenticeship.
