What was our client looking for?
First Great Western were looking for a cleaning contractor who has experience in the transport sector, who could provide them with cleaning services to cover their 109 train stations across the country from Paddington to Penzance.
How did we help?
We have a large portfolio of transport-related cleaning and maintenance contracts including airports, bus companies and train terminals. With this experience we were awarded the contract to provide cleaning services to First Great Western. In addition to this service we have also invested in new equipment and will introduce new products in some of the 109 locations to make cleaning activities more effective.
The results
From the contract start date in April 2010 with approximately 300 employees transferring to MITIE, we have had great success.
