What was our client looking for?

The client, Cushman & Wakefield, needed a contractor who could
upgrade all capital plant within a high profile building that operates 24/7.

With tenants including the BBC, Sky and ITN doing live television broadcasts
from the building, it was imperative that the work was completed without
causing any disruption.

How did we help?

Our scope of work included the relocation of the 3MW capacity chillers
from the basement area to the roof of the building, including the upgrade
of the existing structural steelwork to cater for the additional loads and
replacing the entire roofing system.

An LV panel extension was carried out with reduced time frames and
night shifts to maintain broadcasting schedules. Temporary cooling and
essential services were provided to maintain tenant critical systems.
In addition, we also included for the complete refurbishment of 20 air
systems, replacement of six air handling plants and installation of a standby
generator.

The results

The client was delighted there were no disruptions to his tenants and the

project was completed on time and within budget.
