What was our client looking for?

A reliable team to carry out the replacement of the roof and clad the
side elevations of the building situated in Basingstoke, while our customer’s
laundry operation continued without disruption.

How did we help?

As the factory needed to stay operational while we worked overhead, our
team installed safety nets as well as fine mesh debris nets beneath the roof
to catch any dust. This meant that our customer’s staff could continue their
work below unhindered and in safety.

We installed composite panels and roof lights on the roof, and fixed
composite panels around the building’s four outside walls. The team
also made other improvements to the building including repairs, ground
works and electrical works. So our customer benefited from having one
experienced team on site to make all the relevant improvements. This
helped to ensure that our customer received a time- and cost-efficient
service, as well as a consistent quality throughout and a high level of
project management.

The results

As a result of our work, our client has been able to make some great energy
savings, as the thermal qualities of the building have improved vastly. Our
team transformed this roof from a fragile structure into a robust and efficient
roof that requires little maintenance.
