What was our client looking for?
The European HQ of Capital One, a major credit card company, is based at Loxley House in Nottingham and covers over 270,000 square feet of floor space. In addition, there is a smaller office on Euston Road in London. The client required a facilities management provider to serve both locations and embrace their dynamic business philosophy.
Key deliverables for the contract include 85% self delivery, service enhancements, and a first class front-of-house service. Capital One has also required large-scale support in office reorganisation and restructuring.
How did we help?
We have implemented an integrated FM solution with a 42-strong multi-skilled team, supervised by dedicated managers. Our on-site helpdesk is at the centre of day-to-day support, channeling all requests.
We are also responsible for the client’s critical engineering systems 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year. We look after their critical space through the implementation of our innovative Resilience approach to critical engineering.
Our service delivery helped ensure Capital One passed their Financial Services Authority independent critical system audit with ‘highly commended’ status.
In the 12 years since Mitie started the contract there has been consistently high data centre reliability. The environmental controls and power supply has been operating at over 99% reliability.
Over £1.5m of project work has been completed and managed by the Mitie since 2006, from critical system upgrades to environmental enhancements.
