Mitie gains Hospitality Assured accreditation

Mitie, the facilities management company, has achieved the Institute of Hospitality’s quality standard, Hospitality Assured.

1Team at Vodafone, which consists of Mitie’s integrated FM team, caterer Eurest and health provider Nuffield, received the prestigious accreditation for service and business excellence at Vodafone HQ in Newbury.

The Hospitality Assured process encourages businesses to look at their own operation from the customer’s perspective and to see where improvements would be made to benefit the business.  

The team was scored against the criteria in Hospitality Assured’s nine step standard, which includes customer promise, service delivery, training and development, resources, business leadership and planning and customer service improvement.

Mitie is responsible for a comprehensive range of services with Vodafone UK and Ireland, including fabric and engineering maintenance, workplace management, travel management, energy management, security, cleaning, mailroom and couriers, helpdesk, landscaping, waste and pest services.

Phil Holland, managing director of Mitie’s Integrated Facilities Management business, said:
