The health and safety of our people is a top priority at MITIE. We set high standards and we expect everyone to play their part in maintaining them. MITIE’s Painting team has a dedicated resource of 14 health and safety professionals, with over 60 health and safety focused employees across the entire business. We’re certified to IS0:9001 and BSOHSAS18001, we’re also members of CHAS, RoSPA and the British Safety Council. All our safety professionals are members of IOSH too.

As a company of world-class people, delivering a world-class service we have an extensive range of training programmes available to all our people, including over 25 health and safety courses. Over the last year our training was particularly focused on addressing key issues such as working at height, manual handling and managing road risk – to make sure our performance keeps getting better and better.
