Energy services company

The ESCo approach to energy performance contracts.

There’s now a real alternative to conventional grid energy supplies, as energy services companies or ESCos are able to provide organisations with their own decentralised energy generation on-site. As the second largest ESCo in the UK, we can develop, fund, and operate a new or reconditioned energy centre for your building, which will pay for itself over the term of the contract.

This business model, called energy performance contracting, transfers all the risks of owning and operating the infrastructure from you to us. You get all the benefits of low-carbon, locally-generated power, but don’t have to worry about financing, managing, or maintaining the assets.

There’s no upfront capital cost and you pay only for the energy used, so you can focus capital resources on your core business.  The contracts normally last for up to 15 years, which makes it easier to budget for energy costs over the long term.

We’ll tailor the contract terms to your specific needs, whether it’s heating and lighting levels, power uptime, or carbon reductions.  This means we can deliver whatever you need to meet your targets and fulfil your promises to customers, shareholders and stakeholders.

Our ESCo capability can give you complete control of your energy costs, and a secure, sustainable and affordable on-site energy supply, without any of the financial or operational risks.
