MITIE has designed and installed both small and large-scale heat pumps in schools, universities, scientific establishments, and social housing schemes across the UK. This includes ground source heat pumps (where the heat is extracted from the ground), and air source heat pumps (where the heat is absorbed from the air).
Both these types of heat pumps offer a wide range of benefits, including a year-round supply of natural heat, lower energy bills, and cuts in carbon emissions.
