Low carbon cooling

Cooling is a real challenge for data centres and other energy-intensive ICT operations.  New technology can help you cut your energy costs and reduce your carbon emissions, but replacing old cooling equipment can appear very expensive.

We can offer you a unique financial package under which we will upgrade all or part of your primary cooling machinery with no upfront cost to you. We own the asset; you just pay a quarterly service fee over a minimum of five years, during which time we will maintain and operate the equipment. Because this new equipment is highly efficient, we can guarantee its output, and you’ll also have the assurance that your cooling is reliable and fully supported by our dedicated engineers.

Our preferred option is to install new equipment that uses chilled water, and this will require extra machinery in an area adjacent to the data centre - typically a roof or goods yard. If you don’t have access to this sort of space we can work within the existing area, and that will still produce some efficiency gains.
