Pest control

For decades now we’ve provided what’s probably the most complete range of pest control services on the market. We work for sectors as varied as transport, retail, education, hotels and leisure and local councils who trust us to eradicate insects for their tenants.  

We try to make our business a ‘one stop shop’ for anything to do with the business of pest eradication and prevention. Our services are handled in-house with no subcontracting, which ensures that all our work is completed to our high standards of Health and Safety, quality and environmental compliance. 

We can do everything from technical inspections and routine preventative services to ‘dirty house’ clearance works and the removal of pest-contaminated waste. We can design, manufacture and maintain insect screens, doors, curtains, install electronic fly killers and glue traps. We offer bird control and bird proofing, insect identification, vegetation and weed control, and wildlife management. We can also train your own people in pest awareness. 

Our pest control business may not be the most glamorous service we offer at MITIE, but it has seen some really exciting innovations in the last few years – like our electronic ‘e-pest’ reporting system and the new thermal imaging technology and radical treatments we’ve developed to deal with bedbugs.
