Optical bird gel repellent

‘Set fire’ to your premises to keep birds away with Bird Free. Bird Free is a natural gel formulated to keep all birds away. The gel emits ultraviolet light that birds relate to fire. Visual deterrence is further reinforced by the selected natural oils which are abhorrent to a bird’s senses of smell and taste. It causes no damage to the building or structures and it is placed in dishes that can be glued, magnetised or hung.

In reality it is a preparation containing food-grade natural oils recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. It is therefore not regulated by the Biocide Products Directive. Bird Free is oil-based so it is not affected by extremes of temperature, wind, rain or snow. Herbal oils contained in Bird Free form a film that makes it waterproof and prevents it from evaporating. 

This product can be used indoors or outdoors and on any type of structure or building and even trees. Examples of where MITIE use this include:
