Home energy retrofit
The UK’s 21 million homes are responsible for 27% of the country’s carbon emissions. With statistics like that, social housing providers can play a real part in cutting our carbon emissions and creating more sustainable buildings for the future.
That’s where we come in. As a leading green building contractor, we can reduce energy costs for landlords, residents, and communities. Using alternative energy sources or introducing energy-efficient measures can make a big difference to families on limited incomes and people in fuel poverty, and we’re uniquely placed to help you do this.
We have a dedicated CarbonCare team, offering a range of integrated services to help you manage down your energy use. We’re also accredited by the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), which means we can carry out a wide range of energy retrofit services, including installing air and ground source heat pumps, solar and photovoltaic panels, and biomass boilers. We can also help you with energy efficiency measures like internal and external wall and loft insulation, draught proofing, and energy-efficient boilers.
Thanks to our collaborations with utility companies, we can even explore the funding options that might be available to make energy efficiency measures more affordable. Whether it’s through RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive), CESP, CERT or Green Deal, we’ll make sure it’s the right solution for you.
