Our services

MITIE’s range of waste services covers the full range of waste management, from clinical, hazardous, non-hazardous wastes to waste recycling, provision of internal communal bins and external waste collection services.

All our waste collection services are devised and managed by our team of Account Managers who liaise regularly with their portfolio of clients to manage customer needs. A full monthly report, detailing your waste recycling performance by site is generated through our ISO 14001 management information system.

Where required, MITIE employees are based on-site to run our clients’ waste management process and related facilities, implementing all waste processes such as optimal positioning of bins, bins audits, optimised waste collection and driving positive behavioural change campaigns.

Whatever model you chose, the contract will be delivered like a typical FM contract based on a collaborative partnership; with efficiency savings, innovation and recycled material rebate rates where applicable.

We also offer unique services such as Envirolaw (MITIE’s environmental legislation update), MITIEpack (MITIE’s packaging waste producer scheme), the TREEHUGGER™ office waste recycling solution and the ‘We Love Recycling’ employee marketing campaign.
