Gritting services

Our winter services include both snow clearance, and winter gritting and salting. All these activities have their own part to play in ensuring your building has safe access for both people and vehicles during ice and snow. And legally you have to do that.

As a leading salting company, we can draw on the experience of experts in this field, and we’re pioneering some of the latest developments in the industry, including the use of new technology.

Our teams are on 24/7 standby from October to March, and will normally expect to carry out around 80,000 grits in any one season. Many of our clients include commercial businesses, as well as hospitals and schools.

We have a secure extranet site for our clients called Go-Grit, which allows you to track real-time information such as gritting visits, contact reports, and updated feeds from the Met Office.
