MITIE never stands still and we’re always improving our business to make sure that we can support our customers in the most efficient way possible. That’s why we’ve launched Operation Exodus. This is MITIE’s commitment to make work life easier and more efficient by reducing paper consumption and ensuring that our processes are streamlined. It’s more than just becoming a paperless society. It’s about creating a better way of working for our people and in doing so delivering a more efficient operation to our clients.

We want to operate in the smartest way possible so that we can spend less time doing paperwork and more time finding out what our clients need from us. Using the benefits of technology, we want to make everyday work simpler and more efficient for our people, our customers and our supply chain. It’s all about ‘work life made easier’.

Delivering an efficient and cost effective operation to our clients is a top priority to us at MITIE. Operation Exodus will drive this forward to ensure we’re always doing things in the best way possible

So, what are our objectives?

Exodus is about becoming CRISSP: Cost Reduction + Improve Service = Sustainable Profits. 

In essence, we’ll be looking at four key areas that will help us deliver sustained profits:

• Creating a better way of working for our people;
• Delivering a more efficient operation to our clients;
• Ensuring our suppliers are managed in the best way possible;
• Reducing cost in our operations and supply chain.

How will we achieve our objectives?
