Mitie extends FM partnership with North Cumbria Care NHS Trust
Mitie has extended its 26-year Facilities Management partnership with North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC), delivering critical services including cleaning, maintenance, security, patient catering, and portering services. The contract will see a further rollout of Mitie’s smart portering service to support day-to-day tasks, including delivering key equipment and waste management. Mitie will provide engineering apprenticeship opportunities over the year and dedicate up to 1,000 volunteering hours to support the local community and healthcare charities.

Mitie teams up with Crimestoppers to help keep communities safe
Mitie Security has partnered with the charity Crimestoppers to help keep communities safe across the UK by encouraging anonymous crime reporting. The partnership is the first of its kind, with Mitie sharing anonymous data on criminal behaviour to create incident reports to support police investigations. With crime affecting businesses, families and communities in the UK countryside, the initiative will start by focusing on rural crime by creating a dedicated cross-industry Steering Committee.
