Planned works

At Mitie we understand that if you’re a landlord, it’s not just about fixing problems quickly when something goes wrong, but about planning ahead to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your investment.

Our range of IT management systems and operational experience enables us to assist clients in making informed decisions on their long-term planned, preventative and cyclical maintenance programmes. By analysing your property portfolio in the round and mapping repairs by trade and geographical location, we can help identify trends and targets for planned works. Using this insight we can then put in place a preventative maintenance plan that helps ensure that every penny spent adds value to you and your residents, extending the useful life of your assets.

Disability aids and adaptations

We understand that everyone’s needs are different, and that fitting aids and adaptations to people’s homes can have a significant impact on their quality of life.

Caring for people is an integral part of our approach, which is why we make sure that each and every customer has the right type of work done to their property in a way that suits their needs. We do this by working closely with occupational therapists and carers providing a flexible approach so residents have the option to stay in their homes while the works are being carried out, causing as little disruption as possible.

We offer a range of housing adaptations to support residents with independent living. These include installing low-level kitchen units, fitting grab rails to new kitchen and bathrooms, and building wet rooms with level-access shower facilities.

Whether it’s housing aids and adaptations in properties or providing general refurbishment works, we’ll always make sure we’re meeting the needs of each and every resident.
