Apprenticeships at Mitie
An apprenticeship with Mitie is an incredible way to build your experience, gain a professional qualification and work towards a brilliant future. Every year, we invest in apprentices across the UK, helping people of all ages start, change or accelerate their careers.
An apprenticeship at Mitie is more than a qualification
It’s a paid role, hands-on experience and a pathway into a long-term career with one of the UK’s leading facilities management and professional services organisations. From keeping hospitals running safely, to maintaining schools, offices, transport hubs and public spaces, our apprentices help care for the places where people live, work, learn and travel every day.
We offer apprenticeships at multiple levels
From entry-level roles through to higher and degree apprenticeships, combining structured learning with real responsibility from day one. We are creating an environment where everyone has a voice and is treated equally, and are investing in equality, diversity and inclusion programmes to ensure all our colleagues can bring their true selves to work. We are proud that again this year we are listed in the UK Top 50 Inclusive Companies List.
We will do all we can to support you on every step of your career journey – you just need to be yourself and bring some ambition, drive and commitment to succeed in your chosen apprenticeship.

We’re proud to be a Top 100 Apprenticeships Employer.

“My industry qualification means I’ll never be short of work”
Imran joined Mitie as an electrical apprentice based at University College London Hospitals. He works alongside qualified engineers within a busy hospital in London where he undertakes a range of electrical maintenance tasks to ensure electrical systems are working safely and as they should be.
Make your future Mitie
Mitie apprenticeships provide a great alternative to going to university and you will earn a competitive salary whilst you are studying.
There are many programmes to choose from and vacancies are open throughout the year. Many of our apprentices choose to continue their studies further at a higher level on completion of their apprenticeship.

Help your career take off
The length of Mitie programmes can last from 18 months up to four years, dependent on your chosen route.
You will gain a great range of work experience, skills development and a recognised qualification relevant to your programme. You will be supported each step of the way to help you get the most out of your apprenticeship.
