Transforming people together

Mitie works with a range of specialist partner organisations to improve prisoner prospects in the outside world. Prisoners can complete formal qualifications through education and training, as well as obtain work experience both within their establishment and in the community through Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL) placements. Creating a sense of purpose benefits prisoner health and wellbeing, helping them achieve a fresh start.

Mitie’s delivery in the prison sector is underpinned by the latest technology. Our colleagues are equipped with handheld devices, reducing levels of daily admin and increasing efficiency. This allows Mitie colleagues to spend more time with those in their care. Dedicated prisoner devices provide access to content that supports rehabilitation, education and prison leaver employability.
