Mitie Security has launched new fever-screening solutions, using thermal imaging to identify individuals potentially suffering from COVID-19. Mitie enhances security operations at Sellafield with new contract
Mitie has secured a new five‑year contract to continue delivering critical security services at Sellafield, Europe’s largest nuclear facility. By providing a dedicated Intelligence Analyst within Mitie’s national intelligence centre, the contract will enhance data sharing among key stakeholders, on site and throughout the UK’s nuclear estate. A new Nuclear Security Centre of Excellence will be established to set consistent national standards for nuclear security in terms of recruitment and training.
