Mitie grows landscaping services with the acquisition of Biotecture
Mitie has acquired Biotecture, a leading specialist in designing, building and maintaining ‘living walls’ for interior and exterior urban landscapes. The acquisition expands Mitie’s services to include vertical landscaping, alongside its traditional services. The addition of Biotecture supports Mitie’s commitment to be the greenest landscaping provider and support its customers in achieving their sustainability ambition.

Mitie recognised as UK Top Employer for seventh consecutive year
Top Employers Institute has certified Mitie as a Top Employer for its commitment to supporting its colleagues through best practice across the business. Mitie drives fleet past 1,000 EVs with first zero emission large van
Mitie has welcomed its first zero emission large van – a Vauxhall Vivaro-e. This takes Mitie’s electric fleet, believed to be the largest in the UK, past 1,000 vehicles. The new van is the first of 655 Vivaro-e’s on order for delivery this year, as Mitie pushes ahead with its commitment to have 2,021 EVs by the end of 2021.
