Our ESG progress
During FY26, we deepened our commitment to environmental and social impact through our dual strategies, Plan Zero and Plan Thrive, now underpinned by new long-term ESG targets running to FY31.
This year marked the conclusion of Phase One of Plan Zero; our five-year decarbonisation initiative launched in 2020. At 31 March 2026, 67% of our fleet had transitioned to electric vehicles, with 6,406 EVs in operation, more than 2,400 vehicles beyond our original expectations, even as the fleet expanded significantly through organic growth and acquisition. Alongside 100% renewable electricity procurement for our estate and EV charging, we have achieved an effectively Net Zero position for Scope 1 and 2 emissions on a market-based reported basis.
