Mitie retains MoD Gold Award for defence community commitment
Mitie has been revalidated as a Gold Award recipient on the Ministry of Defence’s (MoD) Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) for a further five years, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community. Since first receiving the Gold Level accreditation in 2020, Mitie has supported over 1,000 colleagues in its Military Network through career guidance, employment opportunities and charity initiatives. Mitie’s Military Network provides a platform for its military community to connect with like-minded people and the tools to support ex-military colleagues.

Mitie Security launches Global Security Operations service
Mitie Security has launched a new Global Security Operations service, integrating all of its intelligence and technology-led solutions into one integrated security offer. The service will combine Mitie’s industry-leading software, its 20,000 frontline security officers and world-class risk specialists, enabling customers to make informed security decisions. Mitie’s customers will receive real-time operational intelligence and can also opt-in to enhanced intelligence sharing with other businesses and the Police to tackle wider crime issues.

Mitie lands three-year contract expansion with Birmingham Airport
Mitie has expanded its relationship with Birmingham Airport, securing a new three-year baggage screening and passenger assistance contract. The new contract will see Mitie work closely with Birmingham Airport to ensure it can flexibly support the airport as travel restrictions ease and passengers return to flying.
