Mitie helps businesses with UV air disinfection service
Mitie has launched a new air disinfection service using ultraviolet (UV) light to help eradicate harmful bacteria, viruses, funghi and mould. Partnering with Luxibel, the service uses UVC purification lamps with sleek modern designs, that can be installed either discreetly in air vents and ceiling tiles, or displayed to aid employees’ and customers’ peace of mind. Air quality can be monitored through real-time remote sensor technology, while UVC detection stickers placed around the site can monitor UVC levels.

Mitie Landscapes backs No Mow May to support biodiversity
Mitie is supporting the ‘No Mow May’ campaign which promotes biodiversity by postponing some of the lawn mowing for one month. Mitie customers, covering 50 sites across the UK, have already committed to leaving some of their grass alone for the month of May.
