Mitie enrols first learners on the new Cleaning Hygiene Level 2 apprenticeship
Mitie confirms the enrolment of 20 learners for its new Cleaning Hygiene Operative Level 2 apprenticeship programme. The new apprenticeship standard for the cleaning and hygiene sector will offer specialised training and development opportunities for colleagues in the early stages of their careers. Mitie’s new cleaning apprenticeship offering follows the Professional Security Operative (PSO) Level 2 Apprenticeship which was launched in August last year.

Mitie continues to bolster its risk management expertise with the attainment of the ISO 22301 certification. Mitie underwent rigorous auditing across the business, including operational functions, locations and customer accounts, before being recommended for the ISO 22301 certification. Mitie nets new contract extension with Arsenal FC
Arsenal Football Club has renewed its security vetting contract with Mitie for a further five years. As part of the new contract renewal, Mitie will continue to provide vetting services including digital identity verification, right to work and CV checks, as well as verifying employment and education history. Mitie’s smart MyCheck™ technology will play a key role in the delivery of vetting services on this contract.
