Phoenix Group consolidates IFM contracts with Mitie
Mitie has been awarded a new contract with Phoenix Group to deliver integrated facilities management (IFM) services across its UK sites. As part of the five-year contract, Mitie will provide a range of specialist services, including its ‘Connected Workspace’ and decarbonisation services, in a deal worth £62m. This contract marks the first time all facilities management services for the Phoenix Group estate have been brought under one supplier.

Mitie grows landscaping services with the acquisition of Biotecture

The acquisition expands Mitie’s services to include vertical landscaping, alongside its traditional services. Mitie secures £250m Sellafield contract
Mitie has been awarded a contract to deliver Sellafield’s new Integrated Asset Care (IAC) framework as a 50/50 partnership with Jacobs, under the OneAim joint venture. The five year contract will be worth up to £250m and will see Mitie deliver specialist services such as the installation and maintenance of the site’s infrastructure and equipment. This contract builds on a long-standing relationship between Mitie and Sellafield, with the partnership spanning nearly 20 years.

New survey* of Mitie electric vehicle (EV) drivers finds they’re supportive of the transition, with 91% glad they switched to electric. Financial savings and environmental benefits top the list as the most popular aspects of driving an EV. Issues around public charging infrastructure are a downside for half (50%) of EV drivers and the biggest area of concern for those waiting to get their new vehicle.
