Mitie extends security contract with DP World
DP World Southampton has renewed its security contract with Mitie underpinning its sector expertise in maritime logistics security. As part of the contract renewal, Mitie will continue to provide security services including security personnel, vehicle and personnel security checks, visitor authorisation, intelligence reporting, and crime prevention. The two-year contract extension builds on Mitie’s successful 11-year partnership with DP World.

Mitie steps-up support for COVID test centres with new contract win
Mitie steps-up its support for the UK’s Coronavirus test centres with a new one-year contract worth up to £365 million. The contract will include over 175 Regional and Local Test Sites and more than 100 Mobile Testing Units (MTUs) across the UK. Since April 2020, Mitie has been delivering cleaning, clinical waste management and security services, such as traffic management and lane support, for 138 test centres.

Mitie secures five-year HMRC facilities management contract
Mitie has secured a five-year facilities management contract with His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), worth £130 million. Across 28 sites up and down the UK, Mitie will provide a range of specialist services to support the maintenance and upgrades of HMRC’s buildings. The contract builds on Mitie’s existing partnership with HMRC, having delivered security services across its entire UK estate since 2019.
