Mitie accredited as a member of the Good Business Charter
The accreditation reflects Mitie’s commitment to being a responsible business helping people and communities to thrive through care for colleagues, suppliers, customers and the environment. The achievement was celebrated at a breakfast event with Rt. Hon Liam Byrne MP, Chair of the Business and Trade Committee and Jenny Herrera, CEO of the Good Business Charter. Mitie is the largest employer to be accredited to date, providing a blueprint for a more ethical future of work in the UK.

Mitie teams up with Crimestoppers to help keep communities safe
Mitie Security has partnered with the charity Crimestoppers to help keep communities safe across the UK by encouraging anonymous crime reporting. The partnership is the first of its kind, with Mitie sharing anonymous data on criminal behaviour to create incident reports to support police investigations. With crime affecting businesses, families and communities in the UK countryside, the initiative will start by focusing on rural crime by creating a dedicated cross-industry Steering Committee.

Mitie appoints Kathryn Dolan as Chief People Officer
Mitie has announced the appointment of its new Chief People Officer, Kathryn Dolan, who joins from Bureau Veritas. Kathryn will be leading all aspects of the People and Culture strategy across Mitie’s 72,000 strong workforce.
