Mitie to put University of Essex on course to reach net zero goals
Mitie is supporting the University of Essex to reach its net zero goals with a new decarbonisation consulting contract. With a series of audits across three campuses and innovative data-led forecasting, Mitie will set out how the University can reach net zero Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 2035. Mitie’s Plan Zero consultants will use 3D digital modelling software to understand how buildings will respond to different low and zero Carbon solutions.

Mitie nets new contract extension with Arsenal FC
Arsenal Football Club has renewed its security vetting contract with Mitie for a further five years. As part of the new contract renewal, Mitie will continue to provide vetting services including digital identity verification, right to work and CV checks, as well as verifying employment and education history. Mitie’s smart MyCheck™ technology will play a key role in the delivery of vetting services on this contract.

This ranking reflects Mitie’s investment into apprenticeships, with over 1,600 apprentices across the business.
