Mitie has awarded an extra day of holiday to over 25,000 Mitie colleagues as a thank you for their work during COVID-19. A number of new benefits have also been introduced to ensure Mitie employees have access to the health and well-being support they need to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic. The new benefits include access to free virtual GP consultations and flu vaccinations.

Mitie to deliver fully integrated FM services for Magnox Ltd

Mitie has secured a new contract with Magnox Ltd to provide integrated FM services for 14 sites, including 12 nuclear sites, a hydroelectric plant and a technical office, across the UK. The contract is worth £56 million over five years and has the option to extend for an additional five years. Mitie will provide engineering maintenance, cleaning, waste management, landscaping, helpdesk, front of house and mailroom services.
