A new SFJ Awards Level 3 Award for Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness has been developed in collaboration with Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) and the National Counter-Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO). Mitie wins new cleaning contract with the London Fire Brigade

Mitie awarded a further three-year contract with the London Fire Brigade, providing cleaning, security, and guest services across 97 sites including fire stations, critical offices, headquarters, and River Fire Station. Mitie will bring its expertise in sustainability, as well as supporting Mitie colleagues’ daily tasks by leveraging its cutting-edge technology. Supporting the region, Mitie has pledged to create apprenticeships for those from underrepresented groups and dedicate 2,855 hours each year to upskill its colleagues.

Mitie unveils sustainability and social impact-led supplier charter

Mitie has launched a new Sustainability and Social Value Supplier Charter designed to build collaboration with suppliers of all sizes to deliver lasting benefits for people, communities and the environment. The Charter focuses on five priority areas including Climate Action, Inclusive Employment and Community Engagement, supporting Mitie’s Plan Thrive goals. Mitie will work with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, which offers structured learning pathways, workshops, and supplier summits, to support suppliers on a three-year journey to a Gold-Level accreditation.
