Mitie secures new contract with HMRC

Mitie has secured a new five-year contract, with the option to extend up to a total of ten years, with His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to provide security services across its nationwide estate. The contract, valued at approximately £15 million a year, will see Mitie continue to support HMRC’s ten-year transformation programme by enhancing its security intelligence offering and introducing a new digital risk management tool. Mitie has committed to taking on 75 apprentices, part of its pledge for 5% of its workforce in earn and learn positions as a member of the 5% Club.

Mitie secures £250m Sellafield contract

Mitie has been awarded a contract to deliver Sellafield’s new Integrated Asset Care (IAC) framework as a 50/50 partnership with Jacobs, under the OneAim joint venture. The five year contract will be worth up to £250m and will see Mitie deliver specialist services such as the installation and maintenance of the site’s infrastructure and equipment. This contract builds on a long-standing relationship between Mitie and Sellafield, with the partnership spanning nearly 20 years.

Mitie awarded new contract with DVLA

Mitie has secured a new five-year contract, worth £81.7 million, with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), with the option to extend for an additional two years. Mitie will be responsible for planned and reactive engineering maintenance across 12 buildings at DVLA sites in Wales, bringing its innovative approach to remote maintenance. In addition, Mitie is delivering decarbonisation projects including installing ground source heat pumps across DVLA sites to help the Agency to meet its Greening Government Commitments.
