Mitie soars to new heights with NATS contract
Mitie has secured a new five-year multimillion pound contract to deliver integrated facilities management services for NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic control services. During the five-year contract, Mitie will provide services including engineering, security, cleaning, logistics, energy services and projects. Mitie will deliver these services UK-wide at a range of sites including main air traffic control service centres, communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) sites, and airports.

Mitie has been awarded Silver membership within The 5% Club. The accreditation recognises Mitie’s consistent commitment to providing earn and learn opportunities, with over 1,400 apprentices currently working at Mitie. Mitie’s Silver membership is a recognition of its commitment to develop emerging talent, which has also contributed to the achievement of three consecutive listings as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer.

Mitie stays on track with Eurostar extension
Mitie has renewed its security contract with Eurostar for an additional three years, with the option to extend for a further two years. Mitie will continue to provide services including passenger security for arrivals and departures, train searches, manning e-gates, CCTV monitoring and access control to restricted zones. The contract renewal continues the partnership between Mitie Security and Eurostar, with Mitie having provided services for the past 14 years.

Mitie makes a splash with new Yorkshire Water contract
Mitie has been awarded a new three-year contract to deliver grounds maintenance services for Yorkshire Water. As part of the contract Mitie will deliver landscaping services including grass cutting, hedge maintenance, tree management, weed control, adverse weather services, and sustainable drainage systems management. Mitie will bring its ‘Live Landscapes’ intelligent technology to the contract.

Mitie unwraps 3,000th electric vehicle in time for Christmas
The vehicle will be used on Mitie’s Greener Cities service in Dudley, West Midlands. Landscaping equipment used on the contract is charged by solar panels on the roof.

Mitie lands contract extension at RAF Mildenhall
Mitie has been awarded a £20 million contract extension at RAF Mildenhall by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). The contract sees Mitie provide facilities management, engineering, maintenance and repair services at the U.S. Air Force base in Suffolk. The contract will introduce new on-site EV charging solutions to progress the Ministry of Defence’s sustainability goals.

Mitie has won a 3+2-year contract providing cleaning services for Cleveland Fire Brigade. The contract will cover 16 locations across the Cleveland area.
