Mitie to deliver fully integrated FM services for Magnox Ltd
Mitie has secured a new contract with Magnox Ltd to provide integrated FM services for 14 sites, including 12 nuclear sites, a hydroelectric plant and a technical office, across the UK. The contract is worth £56 million over five years and has the option to extend for an additional five years. Mitie will provide engineering maintenance, cleaning, waste management, landscaping, helpdesk, front of house and mailroom services.

Mitie extends security contract with DP World
DP World Southampton has renewed its security contract with Mitie underpinning its sector expertise in maritime logistics security. As part of the contract renewal, Mitie will continue to provide security services including security personnel, vehicle and personnel security checks, visitor authorisation, intelligence reporting, and crime prevention. The two-year contract extension builds on Mitie’s successful 11-year partnership with DP World.

Mitie has acquired Linx International Group, a leading risk management and consulting business providing both technical and management advice and specialist training for the security industry. The acquisition builds on Mitie’s continued investment in further developing its intelligence-led security and risk management offering. Mitie wins security contract for UK Westfield shopping centres
Mitie has won a new three-year security contract with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield in the UK. The contract will see Mitie colleagues deliver security services, including site patrols and control room management, for Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, Europe’s two largest shopping centres. Technology and sustainability will be central to the contract, with Mitie committing to using electric vehicles and sustainable uniforms, as well as rolling out its Merlin 24/7 technology solution.

Mitie bags new security contract with Home Office
Both manned guarding and mobile patrol services will be carried out by Mitie, the UK’s leading provider of intelligence and technology-led security, at 27 sites across the UK ranging from Dover to Belfast. It is the latest Crown Commercial Services contract won by Mitie following its appointment to the government’s framework last year.

Mitie shifts up a gear with Toyota IFM contract extension
Mitie has extended its integrated facilities management contract with Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK (TMUK) for an additional five years, building on a successful partnership established in 2019. The contract will see Mitie continue to provide vital engineering, cleaning & hygiene, and landscaping services as well as supporting the specialist production operations at Toyota’s manufacturing plant. Mitie is also supporting Toyota’s sustainability goals, having already helped reduce domestic water on-site.
