The guide has been launched as Mitie reopens its Head Office in The Shard, following the installation of UV air disinfection technology, thermal imaging cameras, and the use of long-lasting anti-viral cleaning products.

Mitie celebrates exceptional colleagues at its annual Stars Awards
Mitie has announced the winners of its Mitie Stars Awards at its annual event to celebrate exceptional colleagues. The first, second and third place winners were chosen based on their embodiment of Mitie’s values, and have been awarded with £10,000, £5,000, and £2,500 respectively. Winners include the Mitie British Embassy team in Poland, a school janitor from East Ayrshire, and security colleagues from the Inland Border Facilities contract.

Mitie takes home Gold with Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Award
Mitie has achieved the Gold Award on the government’s Defence Employer Recognition scheme, in acknowledgment of its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community. Builds on Mitie’s Silver Award received just one year ago. New research from Mitie finds that UK employers currently lose over £485 million each week to time wasted due to workplace inefficiencies. The research highlights how physical workplace factors are central to colleague satisfaction, talent retention and boosting productivity levels. Almost nine in ten (88%) employees said a safe working environment and access to technology contributes most to their satisfaction and productivity.
