PerpetuityARC Training to Deliver SFJ Award Level 3 Qualification
A new SFJ Awards Level 3 Award for Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness has been developed in collaboration with Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) and the National Counter-Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO). The Ofqual-regulated qualification is designed for security, health and safety and facilities professionals responsible for venues, sites and organisations, as well as individuals seeking a deeper understanding of counter-terrorism. Delivered by PerpetuityARC Training, part of Mitie Intelligence Services, this qualification provides essential foundational training to help prepare individuals and organisations ahead of the implementation of Martyn’s Law.

Mitie Security works with the National Portrait Gallery to provide a safer and more secure space for visitors in Central London
Mitie Security has worked with the National Portrait Gallery to implement measures that support the Safer Business Network’s Safe Haven Initiative. Responding to the issue of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), the Security team at the Gallery have received specialist training to help vulnerable people, ensuring they receive appropriate support. Mitie Security has worked with the National Portrait Gallery to support its classification by the Safer Business Network as a ‘Safe Haven,’ enhancing the safety of all visitors to the Gallery and those who enjoy Central London’s vibrant nighttime economy.

Poor workplaces cost the UK £71 billion a year, reveals new survey
New research from Mitie finds that UK employers currently lose over £485 million each week to time wasted due to workplace inefficiencies. The research highlights how physical workplace factors are central to colleague satisfaction, talent retention and boosting productivity levels. Almost nine in ten (88%) employees said a safe working environment and access to technology contributes most to their satisfaction and productivity.
