Mitie Group plc has achieved Fair Tax Mark certification across all its operations, both in the UK and internationally. Awarded by the Fair Tax Foundation, the Fair Tax Mark label is widely recognised as the gold standard for responsible tax conduct. Mitie becomes the largest company – by colleague numbers – to secure accreditation to date.

Mitie cheers Commonwealth Games passengers at Birmingham New Street

Mitie, working in partnership with Network Rail helped passengers travelling through Birmingham New Street station on their way to the games with brand ambassadors on hand to help. Taking on the Commonwealth Games mantra as ‘the friendly games’, Mitie’s mission was to ‘put a smile on the faces of passengers’ and ensure a safe and clean environment for travellers.

Mitie strengthens partnership with NHS Trusts in Hertfordshire

Mitie has won four five-year contracts with Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust and Hertfordshire NHS Community Trust. The contracts will see some 300 Mitie employees deliver services, including cleaning, security, portering, linen and laundry, catering and helpdesk, for healthcare sites across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Norfolk. The services were previously managed by Interserve Facilities Management but were renewed following Mitie’s acquisition of Interserve in November 2020.
