Mobile security

Our professional, SIA licensed mobile security team provide regular and random patrols, key holding, alarm response, and accompanied visit services. For your vacant properties, you will save money by reducing false alarms and preventing unnecessary call outs with Detect; our wireless alarm system which offers visual verification when your alarm is activated. Monitored by Mitec, operators use the footage to identify the reason for activation, allowing them to take the most appropriate action.

Key holding

Reduce the risk and burden of alarm activations with our key holding service.

Accredited with the professional key holding standard - BS 7984, our dedicated key holding service is designed to ensure rapid response to any incident or alarm activation on your premises. Once on site our professional, SIA licensed and BS 7858 screened security team will deal with any incident and manage the process, ensuring complete peace of mind. Our key holders will be first to site at vulnerable times to deal with any situation. The officer will perform external and internal checks, and contact our technology centre Mitec immediately if emergency services are required.

Mobile security patrols

A bespoke service with live time reporting

Our dedicated mobile patrol teams will provide a highly visible security deterrent through scheduled and random patrols. Our professional, SIA licensed and BS 7858 screened security officers use mobile devices and electronic tagging to provide real-time evidence that your tailored patrols have been completed. You will receive a detailed report of the patrol including date, time and if any action was required, providing you with a full audit trail.

Our incident and data mapping software enables us to design bespoke patrol schedules for each location based on the risks local to your premises. We will strategically fit tags on each site which officers will scan to obtain the most up to date site specific information to ensure a full patrol is carried out every time. You’ll get a fully managed service as whilst on site, the officer can also check meter readings or report on maintenance issues found with images captured by our mobile devices. Should the security officer encounter any incidents whilst at your premises, they will manage the situation and remain on site until it is fully secure.

National service delivered on a local level

Through our network of regional offices, we provide a national mobile patrol service with local management. Our highly trained and customer focused local operations managers will provide you with a single point of contact for seamless service delivery.

Vacant property security and inspection

Secure your vacant property, perform your duty of care and comply with building insurance requirements with our dedicated void property inspection team.

You will receive a tailored service as our specialist team will complete a thorough risk assessment for each individual site. The report will determine the most efficient and effective security strategy based on risk, budget and future use to secure your premises; this could be using technology such as Detect or with manpower solutions such as mobile response services.

Property inspections

As well as regular security patrols, you will receive property management and maintenance to make sure your site is kept to a high standard and you remain compliant.

You will receive reports on any changes to the building both internally and externally, and we will work with you to fix any problems. By keeping your site maintained we can minimise any damage to your property. Electricity, gas, heating and water can all be turned off or drained down to prevent burst pipes or unnecessary costs, and we will also report any issues surrounding pigeons or vermin which could present a health risk to anyone entering the premises.

Once your property becomes vacant we can change the locks to prevent unauthorised entry by previous key holders who could re-enter the premises to cause damage or remove items which do not belong to them. We will also seal your letter box to make sure there isn’t a build-up of unwanted mail which can become a fire risk. You will be complying with insurance regulations as when a building is empty insurance companies insist on the property being inspected regularly. If this is not carried out your policy will become invalid.

Reporting for compliance and property management

You will receive real-time reports to effectively manage your property portfolio as our patrol and inspection teams use the latest PDA technology to manage each site’s individual requirements. Whilst patrolling your property we can take meter readings, report broken windows, take photos of graffiti etc to make sure your property remains in good condition, and manage any repairs on your behalf. The reports produced can also be used as evidence to show compliance to your insurance company.

Seamless service delivery with one point of contact

You will have one account manager and a national network of patrol officers and engineers who will manage your portfolio requirements, and make sure security measures remain operational. You will also perform your duty of care as our team ensure there are no health and safety issues, such as loose cables, broken windows etc which you could be liable for.

Wireless security systems - Detect

Your wireless security solution

Our range of internal and external wireless alarms offer visual verification when activated, providing real-time images of incidents in progress all monitored by our team in our Mitec technology centre.

You will save money on false alarms and detect unnecessary call outs as the visual verification process allows our team in Mitec to use a ten second image to identify the reason for activation, ensuring that only real alarms are responded to. Once the reason has been identified, an operator will dispatch our response team and call the police if required. Once on site, the team will report its findings on the PDA; any footage taken by Detect and the PDA can be used to as part of the legal process . The alarm is also a way for our team to communicate if there is someone on site to verify identity or act as an additional deterrent to intruders.

As this is a wireless security solution, operating through the mobile network, no electricity or hard wiring is needed. Mitec will monitor the long-lasting battery and an engineer will be dispatched to change when required.

You will have flexibility as the system can be programmed to arm/disarm at intervals assigned by you or operators at Mitec can deactivate alarms for ad-hoc requests if you have visitors on site. You can also access the system from anywhere, anytime using the smart phone application, and receive alarm alerts and footage direct to your phone. If you need an alarm at short notice, the plug and play technology means we can fit an alarm and camera in a couple of hours, and doesn’t require any site presence from you.

Flexible pricing structure and packages to suit you

With Detect you will only pay for what you need as our team will assess your premises and complete surveys across your portfolio to ensure the system is bespoke to each individual site. Your security costs will be reduced as Detect removes the need for onsite security officers with flexibility for the system to be complimented with mobiles patrols where required.

For sites with an extended vacant period our planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM) ensures that the system is maintained at regular intervals so that the system remains compliant with all the relevant standards. If there is a fault, an alert will automatically be sent to Mitec and an operator will dispatch one of our engineers to fix.

You will be protected against fire and flood as the devices also have smoke and flow detectors. Once alerted, operators at Mitec will dial in and visually verify a fire or flood on the premises and ensure a rapid response from the emergency services.

You will remain compliant as detect meets the EN 50131 standard recognised by police and insurance authorities as a compliant alarm system which could reduce your insurance costs.
