Heather Downes

Heather Downes, Head of Innovation and Product Development at the Cleaning and Hygiene Centre of Excellence in our Birmingham Hub, joined the FM industry when she was 21 and has worked within a broad range of sectors. Her in-depth experience of cleaning service delivery at operational management level and focus on continuous improvement contributed to her success in her current role. Heather’s focus is reviewing innovative cleaning solutions that are going to drive efficiencies, create cost savings and support Mitie’s environmental ambitions through water and energy reductions.
