Nick Preece

Nick joined Mitie’s Care & Custody business in 2017 as Finance Director with responsibility for all financial governance and reporting along with resolution of any commercial issues that may arise. Nick has re-shaped the Care & Custody finance team including creating a commercial finance team for a £0.5bn Government contract.

Nick has over 20 years’ experience in the outsourcing sector having previously worked for Capita, initially joining in 1999 as a Contract Manager before progressing to the role of Finance Director for Local Government Services division in 2004, where he played a key role in driving a 3-fold increase in turnover and profit.

Prior to working in the outsourcing sector, Nick held a variety of finance roles in both Central and Local Government.
