The Law Society appoints Mitie to deliver document management and logistics services

  • Five-year contract to transform The Law Society’s document management and logistics services
  • First generation outsourcing agreement
  • Bespoke Document Management System and Scanning services to support The Law Society’s move to an agile working environment

Mitie‘s Document Management business has been awarded a five-year document management and logistics services contract with The Law Society following a competitive tender process. This is the first time the professional body has outsourced these services, which were previously delivered in-house.

Mitie has been appointed to transform service provision by digitally enabling the provision of mail room management, porterage, reprographics, scanning, records management, and purchasing services. These will be delivered using a fully integrated solution aligned to The Law Society’s WorkSmart project, which is focused on modernisation by bringing people, processes and technology together.
